Industry members in different parts of the world have made significant efforts to comply with the protection needs of various HVCA (high value conservation areas) as well as with the Non-GM demands of buyers of soy and corn products – often after having been pointed in this direction by environmental NGOs or simply by their mostly European clientele.
While the degree of industry spontaneousness may vary, all these industry efforts are of great value because they lead in the right direction.
